The Pink Camping Vanity Director Chair is the chair you bring when you want to do more than sit down. It is built on the same tall, stable frame that film and theater crews have used for decades, with a black steel tube frame that folds flat, a pink canvas seat and backrest, and a full set of extras that turn the chair into a mobile workstation. It is the chair we build for makeup artists, hairstylists, campers who like a proper seat by the mirror, and anyone who has ever balanced a phone on their knees while doing their hair outside.
The frame is a heavier-gauge steel than a regular camp chair, because the chair carries more than a person. It stands tall, so the client or the user sits at the right working height, and the wide stance keeps the chair planted even when you lean across the side table. The whole thing folds in half along the center hinge, and the side table and pockets fold in with it, so you do not have to take anything off before packing.
On the right side of the chair is a fold-down black tabletop that hinges out from the frame. When it is open it gives you a flat, rigid surface big enough for a makeup palette, a phone, a cup of coffee or a notebook. It locks in the open position with a small support arm, and it folds back flush against the frame when you are done. The tabletop is easy to wipe down, which matters if you are working with product on it.
On the left side, and partly on the right as well, are multi-layer pink fabric hanging pockets. The pockets are sewn with divided slots so you can separate brushes from pencils from tubes, and the longer bottom pockets hold taller items like hairspray or a water bottle. They hang off the side frame with webbing straps, so they sit within arm’s reach while you are seated. The pocket color matches the seat fabric, so the chair looks intentional rather than like a chair with a bag clipped on.
Below the seat, a flat metal shelf runs across the front legs. It is the right height to tuck your feet onto when you want to raise them, and it also holds a small bag, a pair of shoes, or a storage caddy while you work. The shelf is open on the sides, so it does not trap dust and it wipes clean in seconds.
The pink fabric is a soft, muted blush tone rather than a hot pink, which keeps the chair looking professional in photos on set and at events. The seat is a single canvas panel stretched between the frame, and it is breathable enough to sit on for a full shoot day. The black frame and black tabletop balance the pink so the chair reads as practical gear first, not a novelty item.
This chair is built to be carried from the car to the pitch, opened, used for a full day, folded, and carried back. It weighs more than a basic camp chair, because the frame and the table have to be sturdy, but you arrive on site with a seat, a work surface, storage and a footrest all in one folded bundle.
